"Hangmen" back at The Gamm!
It’s been a full summer—I played a small part in a short film about an Irish family back in the ‘50s (Heartbreak on Murray Hill), a large role in a feature-length indie film about competitive “Canoe Dancing,” (Canoe Dig It?), and now I’m busy memorizing lines for this fall’s production of “Hangmen” by Martin McDonagh at The Gamm Theatre!
I had a wonderful experience working at The Gamm. Tony is an incredibly intelligent director who does his research, knows an enormous amount of theatrical history, and gives clear direction in the room. I’m excited to be back working with him on such a great play.
I’ll be playing Mooney, the dark stranger with a mysterious past who wanders into the small town of Oldham and soon makes enemies of most of the townspeople. Period piece—check. Dark and troubled character—check. British accent—check. Sounds like just the sort of role I’m known for! I can’t wait to get started.
You can find more information about the theater here. Tickets are already on sale—let me know if you plan to come through!!
