I never really fit in until I moved to New York City…

I was born in a small town in Massachusetts called Millis, and I got out of that beautiful, bucolic suburb about as fast as I could. New York has been a home for me for seventeen years and counting.

I got my first professional acting training (and my BFA) at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting through New York University. While there, I also trained in Shakespeare at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London and learned to stand on iambic feet.

Since graduating, I've been working in Off-Broadway and Regional Theatre, continuing my training at the Scott Freeman Studio of Acting, and spending my off-hours teaching chess.

I'm a hard-working, intelligent actor willing to put in the hours to get deeper into the truth. I'm especially passionate about work that connects the past to the present and shows us the humanity of great figures from history. That, and anything that makes me laugh.
